Curriculum and Class Descriptions

The Healing Touch Certificate Program, in place since 1996, is a continuing education program of Healing Touch International, Inc.  Classes are sequenced through six levels using didactic and experiential learning methods and the program is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association.

Five levels of classes move the student from beginning to advanced practitioner and incorporate a variety of energy-based modalities that are sequenced in class Levels. View course objectives and content below.

Practitioner Certification
After completion of Level 5, practitioners can apply for certification as a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. Applicants must complete all above coursework as well as additional criteria and submit a packet of materials.  The Healing Touch International, Inc. Certification Board reviews each applicant packet for completeness and competency and makes a determination as to whether the individual will be certified. View submission dates and requirements. 

Instructor Certification
CHTPs can train and apply to become Certified Healing Touch Instructors.  Level 6 instructor training is for those interested in teaching Healing Touch Level 1.  Instructors in training must assist with classes, teach under the supervision of a CHTI, and submit a packet of materials for the Certification Board. View requirements.
