Sue Kagel, RN, BSN, CHTP/I, HNC

Sue has been in nursing for over 25 years, working at Canyon Ranch Health and Fitness Resort, Tucson, Arizona where she created and maintains a full time Healing Touch service for over 10 years. She combines Healing Touch with an holistic nursing approach.

A graduate of the Seeds and Bridges Inc. program, she is certified as a holistic nurse through the American Holistic Nurses' Association. She presents lectures and workshops internationally, having taught in the U.S and Ecuador. Sue is on faculty with Andrew Weil's Associate Fellowship Program of Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, teaching Healing Touch and energy medicine. She is co-author of an NIH research grant using Healing Touch with stressed neonates in the NICU.

Sue has been an instructor since 2001, facilitates community building and mentors students, practitioners, instructors and support group. She was elected to the Healing Touch International Board of Directors in 2004 and serves on the PR committee.
