Level 2 Instructor Training Class

Prerequisites:

• Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor
• Have taught at least 8-10 Level 1 classes and have been teaching level 1 for at least one year.
• Maintained an active practice for two years immediately prior to this seminar (5 clients/mo: 10 different clients/year)
• Served as a helper or coordinator of Level 2 classes and has been a mentor for at least one mentee.

Seminar Objectives
The instructor trainee will be able to:

1. Ingrain in the Level 2 student that the essence of the work flows from the heart center while staying present and grounded
2. Identify students who lack intake interview and assessment skills at beginning of Level 2 class.
3. Identify students who lack understanding of confidentiality and the processes of documentation at the beginning of the  Level 2 class
4. Discuss differences in teaching strategies to use when assisting students who have previous experience and those who lack previous experience with intake interviews and assessment
5. Discuss teaching strategies which supports student’s compliance with confidentiality
6. Discuss teaching strategies which assist students in producing documentation which supports decisions regarding Healing Touch techniques to use and their sequencing during a client’s HT session.
7. Discuss energy principle application problems common to each of the Level 2 techniques and how to assist students through these challenges.
8. Discuss teaching strategies to use to pace student activities in Level 2 classes.
9. Identify teaching strategies which can assist students to appreciate Healing Touch practice as a holistic professional health care service.
