Daphne White CHTP

Daphne White comes to Healing Touch after a 20-year career as a journalist, and a nine-year career as the head of a national nonprofit organization.  In joining the HTI Advisory Board, Daphne merges her understanding of the media and her skills as an advocate and change agent. 

Daphne has lived in the Washington, DC area for almost 30 years.  She has seen the workings of the federal government from several angles:  as a journalist, she covered the workings of Congress and federal agencies.  As the head of a nonprofit organization, she was invited to testify before Congressional committees on three separate occasions.  

Healing has always been at the heart of Daphne’s work:  it was the underlying theme of most articles she wrote, and the driving force behind her nonprofit.  As a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Daphne brings healing to the forefront of her work.  In joining the Advisory Board, she looks forward to bringing more visibility to the work of Healing Touch International in the nation’s capital.  She is also working to include energy medicine in the on-going health care reform discussions.  Read more about Daphne on her website, www.daphnewhite.com
